LOVEABLE QUIRKY PEEPS

2/12/10

ANOTHER AWESOME SOMETHING...

Just have to show you what else I've received because of being here and meeting new friends.

Do you Know Colleen from Main Street Memories? If you've already met her, you won't be surprised at this post. If not, please go see her, you won't be disappointed. She'll be your first smile of the day....

Ok, back to what this is all about. My trip to the post office a few days ago let me bring this home. It's a gift from Colleen. Not anything I won, or begged for...Just a sweet lady sharing something she thought I would enjoy. And oh, how right she was!

Here's what she wrote on the sweet little card that was with it:

It came out blurry, but you can still read it..

 And here's the Book

On the back of the cover is a few lines from
Elizabeth Buchan...
Author of 'Revenge of the Middle-Aged Woman' ( I need to read this next!)

She says this about the book,

"A lovely touching read that examines one of the most important things in our lives: enduring friendship."

Can't get much more truthful than that.
What would we do without friends......

Although Colleen and I haven't met *face to face* yet,
we've learned we have some life stuff in common.
And the best part? We're only about an hour and a half drive away from each other.
And here in the West, that's nuthin!

So someday soon she and I will meet, have lunch,
go *Junkin* together, and laugh at how we met on a Blog .
Then we'll both blog about it (O:

Please go meet her if you haven't already
and tell her I sent you! Ya, I want the credit..
( smile and silly giggles inserted here)

And if you've already read Firefly Lane,
DON'T TELL ME ABOUT IT!!

But you can let me know you have and how you liked it. And I'll do the same...
Have a feeling I'll need to get another box of tissues.

And again, a HUGE hug and Thanks to my sweet friend Colleen.
Ya can't help but fall in love with her...

Till next time...

Oh that was so sweet of her!

But I already follow her blog so I can't actually go intro myself and say you sent me.
