You might want to think twice before swallowing that stamina-boosting miracle pill -- you could be eating dried baby flesh. South Korean customs officials seized yet another haul of capsules filled with powdered human babies and are on high alert for more. The pills reportedly originated from China, where aborted fetuses and stillborn babies are believed to be dried on stovetops, then crushed into a powder. This extremely alternative medicine is regarded as a cure for many ailments, but just in case the dried human part wasn't enough to put you off, officials say they actually contain dangerous superbacteria. Unbelievably, no one's been punished because the pills were for personal use only.

What kind of ghoulish piece of camel dung have these people become? I can't even fathom the thoughts going through someone's mind as they're doing this....other than dollar signs. And that makes it even more disgusting to me.

It's Saturday. Had plans to do lunch with my friend Marelo. She had dental work done, implant thingys, and it's not working for her...so the lunch date was trashed.

I have so much to do here anyway. Like re arrange a bedroom to fit in a bookcase my dad's giving me, and toss things in a box to donate somewhere. But where am I instead? This computer is my addiction. Not as bad as other addictive stuff, I know. But still....

So, I'm web surfing and see this guys amazing talent. Just gotta share some of it...

That's just a little bit of what I saw. He does tricky things with lights too. Thing is, he's also selling an E-Book with all his tricks some awesome stuff you can learn. As I've said before, I have issues just loading my memory card on here so I can share stuff. Truth is, I don't take the time....

But if I had a better camera, the time and the patience, I'd love to learn how to do this. Then I'd amaze all of you with my special talent! Sure....in the next life Jakey:)

I get bored with things if they always stay the same. Ok, not EVERYTHING. Just things I gotta look at all the time. Ok, not ALL things. I don't mind the sky and trees and those kinda things. Just other stuff. Like the way furniture is arranged in a room. Or clothes on a bod. Or food on a plate. Or my blog....


I need variety in my life!  Not sure if that's a bad habit. That's just me.


So....I'll be searching for something different on here. And work on a new header thingy. But no name change, I'll still be Jake. Ok you three...I hear your big sigh!

OH PISH......

I was gonna do a post about something I got in the mail.
But
Another awesome friend beat me to it!
I'll explain in a minute
But first.....
Do you have a MotherHen in your life?
I do
And I Love her to pee-ces (wording will make sense in a few)
She sends me things in the mail 
Like a BIG box of stuff to take care of my cold
Not only Tylenol, Zicam, the Muccus killer stuff etc.
There was also a box of rubber gloves and a box of resporator masks! Along with many more cold fixy things I can't remember cause it's been a couple years ago.
Then she sends me a beautimus Quilt w/Shams
And Canisters that I can keep food stuff in
Another time I get a Big pack of tripple AAA batteries
????
(I won't say what my first thoughts were...)
Then a few days later, a little book reading light shows up in the mailbox...it needs tripple AAA batteries :)
Then she finds out how often the power goes out around here
So she sends not one but TWO flashlights...with more batteries, three candles and a thing to light them with, AND a First Aid Kit! (no batteries) cause I might fall down in the dark and need a Bandaid :)
Then when my (I'm still mad at him) soninlaw did what he did, a huge box of big, thick, yummy English Muffins and Jam show up

Ya, I could go on and on and....
But I gotta get back to the last thing that came in the mail

HAVE YA EVER....

Been by yourself, late oclock in the dark, driving up a winding canyon road to get home after spending hours trying on bras that NEVER fit, trying your best to eat a Chicken Pot Pie from that finger lickin good place, and encounter a deer in the headlights?

Me neither.

But I did do all the above yesterday after work, except for the deer. Luckily I didn't see a deer in the mountains. In actuality it was a Jackrabbit in the headlights on the ten mile stretch after the winding road. Frozen still until I got right up to it, then it played chicken with my Elantra and won:)

Dang thing was SO BIG, I thought it was a Jackalope!

Ok, back to the bra buying fiasco. I know what my first question in Heaven will be...after I slide in all used up. "WhatTheHell! I don't remember asking for girls so out-of-proportion to the rest of me that my bras have muffin tops worse than my jeans do! They're just dang obnoxious!"

Can't wait to hear the answer to THAT one....

I'm suppose to be sharing pictures of grandkiddies and rain boots, huh. If you've hung out here long enough, you know how B.A.D. I am at following through on some stuff....

Hmph, bet that'll be one of the questions for me when I get there....all used up.

But maybe later today I can actually do that. I don't plan on going anywhere, so it may just happen..

Actually, I'm spending most of this coming weekend with grandkiddies:)  Two of them have birthdays this month so we're all gonna ParTay. The other two are coming down from Colorado. I'll try to share some pictures of it all.

We're having record breaking temps here today, maybe even through the weekend. I'm way past ready for flip flops and cute sandals..Woot Woot! But whattheheck, I know how fickle Springtime in the Rockies can be. The weather dude just showed a fat wet cloud for Monday. That's ok, I saw some cute rainboots while I was cyber window shopping.

They called shouted my name. I have a post on the shelf about them next week:)

Speaking of rain brings the word boat to mind. Which takes me back to the title today. Which takes me back to the first sentence again. Which makes me look at the clock. Which is tellin me to gettheheck off the computer and get ready for work. Cause it'll be busy. Cause we have Navy Seals here. A whole dang boatload of em!

Thing is, supper last night was some of that processed beef sausage from Hilshire Farms.

Butt... I also had some steamed potatoes and carrots, and I limped up some fresh spinach in olive oil along with it. So that evens out the whole thing, right?

Besides, here's what someone else says...

"A healthy diet can include processed meants like hot dogs alongside your vegetables, grains and dairy"

So see, all I gotta do now is slather some butter on a slice of  7 grain bread, then have me a good bowl of ice cream to top it all off.

My tummy might growl (grow?), but my butt will smile:)

And whattheheck, I plan on sliding into Heaven all used up anyway....mwahahaha!

Yesterday was somewhat of a milestone. My baby daughter turned THIRTY ONE!!

Ya, she wears her sun glasses on top of her head like me :) And I'm so proud of her. She's the one who listened to her mama and nailed a dang good great job! Senior Opperations Manager for Cabelas ain't no bag of peanuts ya know. And ya, I sent a card and made the phone call. Would have taken her to lunch but she lives 5 hours away :(

Anyway, Happy Happy again Darcie, your mama loves ya muchly!

Tomorrow will be a road trip I'll tell ya about after the fact. Taking a silly 'met on the blogs' friend with me. I told her it's always an adventure if ya get in the car with me. You've been warned Dazee:)

WHAT THE.....

I have today off. And what am I doing with it?
Elephino...(that's what you'd get if an elephant and a rino got down and dirty:)) See where my mind is today? Scary....

I took Christmas stuff down yesterday and did my winter cleaning.
(I'm too busy having fun in the spring)

Went to town and shopped for my dad. He needs to eat too...

Visited blogs for awhile and realized I neglected to send my usual Blue Mtn card to everyone..

Looked at three gifts still sitting here, waiting to hear from the grandkids they belong to (long story)

And stayed up wayyy to late watching a dvd...'Company Men'. Not bad, good story line.

So today, after being here for awhile, I'll have lunch with friends, (late Christmas get together with her grand daughter) maybe watch some Netflix and wait for tomorrow when I can go to work.

I told myself this year I'll blog more about me and my life.

BLAH...

How can I blog about something I DON'T HAVE?

In other words, I get to do absolutely nothin today! Cause since I have this Gov job, I get the day off...paid!

But since all the other Gov entities do too, I can't go get food, or deposit money or get the mail. So...I'll just schlump in my jammies all day. Cause I can.....

Well hey, it's Monday...aka Mondaze :)

In two weeks I get one off. When you work where I do and a major holiday falls on a Sunday.....

Yesterday was pretty normal usual around here. Kinda. I don't usually start wrapping Christmas gifts and leave the living room in a big mess of paper and boxes. But I did. And I don't usually get a morning call from my soul friend and talk for, oh, close to an hour about life stuff like we do. But I did. And I don't usually stuff a snowdude in a box so he'll SHUT UP ABOUT FLORIDA! But I did...

But what was really not so usual was learning my lil sis f.i.n.a.l.l.y. pulled her head out of FaceBook, and posted on her blog.

And you thought I was a little offthewall:)

 I've missed her smartassiness :)
