LOVEABLE QUIRKY PEEPS

A KID FUN DAY...

Or maybe it's A Fun Kid Day..

Anyway, I wanted to share a few pictures I took a couple of weekends ago when the grand kids were visiting. There's a museum about 40 minutes away that they love to go to. They know everything in it because they've been there so much.. But I love that they like this kind of stuff! And wouldn't you know it, we were there on a Sunday and they don't open till 2pm...same time I needed to get them back home )o:

So we went around the back to where they have all these fun old wagons and stuff. That's what I'll share this time. Next time we go, I'll take the camera and show what's inside.

First, I'll show the main attraction.
I had to take a picture from the outside window,
but you can get the idea of what's in there...

Yes, a MAMMOTH or Mastodon I guess
It's so much better seeing it inside...

But outside is this display of old buckboard wagons, a covered wagon, sheep camp, and so many other awesome forms of transportation.
What a treat!
So along with the blatant sharing of my adorable grand kids (O:
I'll take you on a trip for a little snippet of the past...

Katie is telling Wyatt a story about the bad guys coming to attack the covered wagon...
I love the *whatever* look on his face..

They're playing *Cowboys and Indians* which I don't think is 'politically' correct now days... But so what! Did you ever play that when you were a kid?
Ya, me too...

                         They saved the day (O:

This one's inside an old Sheep Camp....

I think they had fun.....
So did Grama!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me overload with pictures this time.
And if you want to see just a couple more...
go HERE to Change In A Bottle.

Till next time....

How cute are they! And I love the name Wyatt....very western, cowboy, appropriate for those covered wagons!

It looks as though it was a lot of fun!

A lovely time with the grandchildren, it looks like. And I would visit this museum in a heartbeat as well! Often. And play cowboys and indians.
Thanks for all your comments!

What sweet grandkids you have. Aren't they the best.

I think my grandson would have loved the Mastodon.

Have a happy day friend,

This is in the little town of Fairview Utah. They found the bones of this Mammoth not far from there and have this real awesome museum.
