ONE YEAR BLOGAVERSARY!

 
One year....and oh my,
how Blogging has changed my life.

A computer has only been a part of my life for the past 4 years.
I always said 'I don't need one'.....
I've sure had some thoughtless ideas sometimes. I'm just glad someone finally set me in the right direction, I learned how Un-intimidating it really is, and I smile every time I see it come to life. What a different world it has opened up for me. Especially one year ago....

My neighbor convinced me to start a blog. I knew basic computer things like emailing, searching for info, and was using one for data entry at work. She told me what address to go to, basic things I needed to know, and said I could do it....

Well, what a dunderhead I was! I thought my friend Linda and I could start making some things to sell and maybe even share a few things with someone. I guess I was thinking 'Web Site' or something...who knows. My first post sounds like I think the whole world was right there reading what I wrote...I should have deleted it! I was going to put it on here but it's too laughable and a little embarrassing to be honest. If you want a good laugh you can find it. But I won't care if you don't...really...

Anyway, it took some time and a whole lot of writing about things. But I think I've finally found my comfort place here. I've made some awesome friends along the way, learned there are many women with both different and similar ideas as I have, laughed and cried along with them...and them with me. I don't have a ton of followers but feel a closeness to who I have met. And I'm still a work in progress...as I've always been.

I've been telling stories about things in my past, people in my memories and lately the history of my family a few generations ago. I hope you enjoy visiting when you stop here and I love it when you leave a comment. And I love to tell stories....the true kind. This is my outlet for that.

I also have a silly/sarcastic side to me....that's why the Change in a Bottle Blog was started not long after this one. It started out DUMB too, but I've finally found my comfort zone there. I love everything about Blogging. First, all the awesomely talented ladies I've met and who have shared a little part of their time with me. And then the fact that I can open my mind and just let things come out in words.

Can't get much better than this........
