Yes, there's a guy out there scraping it off his car...
Yes, I'm sure it'll be gone by noon...
But this is the desert, where it gets hot as Hades in the summer, (which is less than a month away) where people wear shorts this time of year, where the lizards come to die...

My a/c has been running since February!!!!
Amazing! Unbelievable! I can't get over that. Yes, it sometimes happens that we get a quick snow in May, but I don't think ever this late. And you are in the desert?! Really?! That's totally wild.
