LOVEABLE QUIRKY PEEPS

9/15/11

HEY!

GUESS WHAT....

TODAY IS THURSDAY!

ALL..DAMN..DAY....

SO, THAT MEANS TOMORROW IS THE DAY AFTER,  RIGHT?

AND THE NEXT DAY IS THE WEEKEND :)

I'm so ready....

Took my dad to see a lung specialist yesterday

Severe COPD....aka

An ugly, bad ass case of Emphysema

We saw the xrays of his lungs

Not good

They gave him stronger meds to help him breath a little better

For a little while....

My brother decided he'd go with us this time

Quite an eye opener for him

Maybe he'll quit smoking.....

Other than that

Life goes on and does what it does...

THINK I'LL JUST DANCE ALONG WITH IT  :)

                             (photos from google search)

I mean...whaddayado.......

Carry On...

Oh, man, that sounds though. I wish you strength!
I have a friend with emphysema, and she is still smoking, which I can't believe.
It was fun chatting w/you yesterday! And I did get my camera to work (didn't do anything, the darn thing figured it out by itself)
Happy Thursday!

I'm shocked that your brother went along, but I'm happy that he did.

Growing old is not for sissies.

Caring for the elderly and infirm takes us to new places from which we can teach others.

What do you mean you want me to put a sock in it? :)

Good luck to your father, who didn't learn (about smoking), I guess.

Good luck to your brother, that he might learn.

"Care Giver"... someone said. Are you doing this full time, now?

-sigh- If so, lots and lots and lots of good luck to you My Dear.

Oooops, forgot to leave the Disclaimer that... No I'm not blogging, but only way I can comment in Blogger blogs, is to use my old, not-being-used Blogger blog Sign In.

Not good is right, my Mom is in the same boat. It's tough to see them struggle, but it was there lives and they knew it could happen that's the way I think anyway. Also I'm half way there too, I love smoking!! Crazy I know. I do hope your Dad gets some relief with the new meds. At least your not showing your deformed hand today, but your face looks very gaunt in this dancing scene of yours, who knows you could even attract a man possibly. Oh hell just get a dog....

My daughter has COPD and she's only 48.

If you're going to post photos of me dancing, you could at least give me credit.

you don't fool me none. that is you dancing. somehow, someone caught you out on your patio being all meloncoly and shit.

That is awful about your dad. I think scary man at work has that but he won't admit it. He coughs all day long, and its a gross, makes you want to throw up kind of cough.

Waiting on that mailman. oh yes I am.

Hi sweet friend.....sorry about your dad....you know smoking is such an awful habit....and it is so very addictive. Glad that is one thing I never tried. LOL

Hey....we are going to be in your state. Park City in fact. I don't think that is anywhere near you but thought I would let you know.

I lurve Judie's comment about the dancing photos (not that they're actually dancing).

Sorry to hear about your dad's ill health. I'm a smoker and I'm not sure what it's going to take to get me to quit. A straightjacket?

Thanks for visiting my blog on Thursday and how very interesting your grandparents were vaudeville performers. There was some real talent spin off from those good ole days.

Geez, I'm sorry to hear about your dad's lung problems. Smoking is so bad! My dad has black lung (ex-coal miner) plus he use to smoke when he was younger. His lungs are in rough shape, but he gets by okay.

Come see me again. I'm your newest follower!
