LOVEABLE QUIRKY PEEPS

1/28/12

So, are you on Facebook?
Ya, me too. But I'm in the 32.36%
And I don't like all their changes either. I have a hard time finding stuff since the last change....

I think I'll be saying bye bye this time.
Blogging and emails are my speed. More personable. And I can talk all I want:)
Here's the full article with more good reads toward the bottom of the page

How about you?
Will you stay with the forced Timeline?

Oh, speaking of changes....tee hee

Jake (the blog, not the me) will be under construction soon. Kinda like a facelift but without the plastic smile :]  BUT I will be the one in control, doing it how I want. No strong-arming-mafia-type-you'll-do-it-our-way-or-else!

Have a Silly Saturday!

I got off Wastebook about six months ago and don't miss it one iota. Look forward to seeing the new 'look.' Have a great weekend!

Hi sweet friend....never been on facebook and have no desire to be.....Brad is though and he keeps up with some old friends that way. I'm like you....blogging is about all I can muster.

I rolled into the Timeline before it was forced on me. Lots of ways to keep things private. I'm far more concerned with Google+. Hard to find the privacy settings for all things that interact with G+. Without knowing it, my photo albums' new default is PUBLIC, which doesn't mean public to your G+ circles, it means anyone in the whole wide world public.

Someday, when you are a big girl, you might even start TEXTING. Yeah, I said it, what ya going to do about scardy pants.

Totally with you on FB's Timeline, I find it confusing and basically a mess. I'm dreading the day that this change is forced on me. I will stay on FB as I have found it invaluable for networking with other artists....but....

Not on it. And never do I tweet.
Just not my thing, either one.

I think it's a mess too. I hate when I go to post on someone's wall and they have it....UGH !

Only reason I'm still on fb is some of our family and friends live so far away and it is a good way to keep up with them and see pictures of events we would otherwise totally miss !

I am on Facebook, but don't really care about it. I don't text, and I don't tweet. It's either the blog or the email for me. Facebook can dump me for all I care, and I haven't a clue what Timeline is, and I don't even care.

And yes, sister, I am good in a bad way and I'm bad in a good way.

If we lived closer, we could do some damage!!

I've always thought facebook is a waste of time, I never did understand it. I mainly go in to see what my family and friends are doing. But trying to figure out what to put up on it is a real struggle for me. So either way I really don't care, they could blow it up if they want to!

FB has been the way my family keeps in touch.. sister lives in Saudi Arabia.. nieces live in Kuwait.. daughter and grandsons in Guam, Son in Alaska and numerous elsewhere.. so I need FB now... it's a shame they changed the format but I'll have to stay!
Thank you so much Jake for your sweet comments on my blog today.. You put a smile on my face...
Thanks
Sandy

I'm on facebook but haven't swithched to the timeline style as yet, I hope I am not forced into it as I don't like it as much as the older version. I basically like facebook to see family photos that are posted and communicate with my non blogging friends :)

3 years ago or so, my son published pictures on Facebook. To see them I had to become member. I gave the same profile I have in my Blog and referred to my blogs. I only publish photos which I want Facebook friends to see. But real friends not the hundreds who wanted to be my friend ! I still don't know how this thing works and have never written anything else than the explanation to the photos. As I am such a poor user I didn't even notice that there were changes, lol !

I don't really pay attention to the timeline.

The timeline thing didn't bother me...I roll with the changes. Well, some changes! Getting a facelift? But I love your face!

Well I am like most of your friends on here I belong to facebook but hardly ever go there. Keeping up with blogging is getting harder every day so I don't have time for face book.
I never understood the popularity of it but I am an ole lady so that could be why. lol
Take care honey and have a good week
Love

facebook is OK. I like that I can keep in touch with what far away friends or family are doing. I don't post much on it, though. Changes are annoying because then I have to learn new stuff for something I don't use much.
