Ever wonder where time goes ?
We've heard all the little sayings about it...
Times Past,
Time Slips Away,
As Time Goes By etc.
And what exactly is time ? Is it numbers on something round with one, two or even three things pointing at the numbers ? They move slowly if you watch them. But stop watching the movement and the next thing you know, they've whizzed around the circle and time has gone by so fast.
But where does it go ?
And why am I wondering this ?
Maybe because I'm so behind on blogging again. Seems just a few hours ago I told about Peter and Louise. But that was on Tuesday. Now it's Thursday...night.
So I want to know where all the time went. How did the movement on something round speed up so much that I lost it ? And where did it go ?
I have three days in a row that I won't have to go to work. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Accordingly, that's a lot of journey's around the circle. Past all the numbers. And if I sat here and watched the movement, it would be so slow. Time would 'Stand Still'.
But I won't do that. Instead, I'll try to make up for 'Lost time'. Blog more, straighten things up around the dorm room, go visit my kids and do the 'Decoration Day' thing. Maybe rest the old mind for a bit...
Then come Monday night, I'll look at the round thing with numbers on it. And ask myself again...just exactly where did the time go ?
