Ohhhhhhhh, you beat me, with a new blog look. And it is sooooooooooo pretty and soft and gently muted. A nice change from all the Christmas sparkle and tinsel and etc., which has been everywhere in blogs. :-)
Love that old photo! Love how back then, bathing beauties were allowed to look as Nature had intended lovely young women to look... Fashion had not yet decreed that women had to have less hips, than breasts.
I think hips are Nature's way of showing that a young woman will be able to bear children easily. Which used to be very, very important to the continuation of mankind.
But not now. Now "The Powers That Be of Fashion" decree that women must be painfully thin, everywhere but in the surgically augmented bust line. -le sigh-
Yes, Congratulations to the winners!
In my comments, you mentioned about perhaps wanting your Header pic to be big. :-)
I learned how to make most all my posted pictures big. [If you want to look, I'll give you the link to the blog where I learned.]
You get to tweek pics to make them big. But you lose the ability to have all the free cute Backgrounds, like ones you are now using. When you have big pics, you must use Stretch Minima Template on Blogspot. Very few free Backgrounds work with this.
So you have to personalize your blog, by use of colors.
For the time being, I like being able to post big pics, so I'm willing to make the trade off so to speak. Plus, a lot of those cute free Backgrounds can make one's blog load time lonnnnnnnnnnnng. So I stopped using them.
A suggestion which I do is... make a private blog, just for playing around with Backgrounds, Templates, Colors, etc. That way, you can "make messes" and no one will see. :-)))) And when you get it right, you simply do the same, on your blog which shows, and it's cool.
:-)
Wow!
*l*o*v*e* your new blog look!
