LOVEABLE QUIRKY PEEPS

ONE YEAR HERE!

I AM IN AWE....

Never in my life could I have guessed I'd be on the computer, writing so many things and celebrating doing it for ONE YEAR...woohoo!

I've always loved to write about things, but never really had the outlet to do it. Life was different than it is now and back then I never even wanted a computer! Didn't 'need' it...

Until about 4 years ago a friend convinced me to get one. You know, email to keep in touch with friends and family.... research things... have some computer skills for a job....

So I took some savings, went with a cousin to Best Buy, went along with what he thought I needed, about croaked when I wrote out the check, (he laughed at the look on my face) and sat down to learn...boy was I green. But everyone can laugh and nod, cause they've been there.

I learned about emailing, doing some research, what 'no no's' are out there, how to read the newspapers, how a printer can work wonders and of course spam, malware and virus crap! Then I found blogging.....

And that opened up a whole different world for me. I've told stories and jokes. Shared pictures and information. But most importantly, I've met some awesome friends who I plan to keep foralways...

I had a first year blogaversary on All My Yesterday's  a couple of weeks ago. It was such a hoot to find stuff and send it on. So now it's time to do it here...

April 4th..yes, a week from now..Easter Sunday, will be my First Year Blogaversary for CHANGE in a BOTTLE. And since I also sell awesome items from Cierra Ashley , I thought I'd give something from them as a GIVEAWAY..

Ah, so you're like me...haven't had your computer that long. I've only had one for about four years, too. My sister-in-law gave me an old used computer that sounded like a car revving up when it first came on. Hubby took it for more memory and was told it wouldn't help much, it was on its way out. That was in October. In December, he surprised me with an early Christmas present. Don't know ho I ever got along without one. Congrats on your year.

Congratulations. I remember we got our first computer when my son was in junior high. I'm on my third soon to be fourth when ever I go look. The computer sure has opened up a new world.

Ha, that's cute. Everyone sharing computer stories. We've been on the Internet since 1995. Honest. That long ago. Blogging and interacting not so much. I decided early on that chat rooms were not for me. And never really tried to interact with the world out there until a little over a year ago when I thought 'hmm, I wonder what that thing called 'reader' is in google mail.' And discovered I could make sense of the blogger world. So congratulations to you Vicki, you did it all in one fell swoop! That's awesome! And I love your photos from your home State, it looks gorgeous!
Happy Blogging!

Happy almost Blogaversary! Thanks for this cool giveaway.

I have all my Cierra Ashley stuff on the table ready to be opened...

After I finished reading Alphabe-Thursday links AND hang out the laundry AND plant some corn since it is supposed to rain later today.

Somedays I'm really thinkin' I need a wife.

Seriously. She could take care of stuff while I did what I wanted.

Or else I need to re-train Mr. Jenny.

Thanks for this beautiful giveaway!
