FROM THE DORM...

Well, the wind isn't blowing anymore. It's raining now, and cold. I mean really, it's June 12th and I have the heat on! Course, it won't take much to heat the room up. And it's not winter, freezing cold. But 40 degrees in mid June is obnoxious.

It's a wall unit with both heat and AC. Pretty handy, but noisy. So it's not on when I go to bed. I've heard the one on the other side of the wall a couple of times but it's more of a muted hum.

Went to town today with my friend Marelo. We shopped a bit, then stopped for lunch at a cafe in a little town between here and there...Stockton. It's theme is mining and the food is just dang good! Had to do something to keep from pulling my hair out. The Internet was down for over eight hours today. I mean, how could I ever live without blogging? First thing I did when we got back was see if I could get back here. I did and went right to Jenny's Saturday Centus. It's over on CHANGE in a BOTTLE

Anyway, there was so much food, I brought some home for supper tonight. It's in the micro heating up. So I'll end this for now, get settled on the bed/wanna be sofa, eat my warmed up meatloaf, mashed taters and what's left of the scone, off the paper plate, with the plastic fork, get a bottle of water out of the 19" x 19" x 32" fridge, and watch a movie from Netflix.

Awww, life in the dorm...

Oh, a tidbit about Marelo...she's lived here on Base close to 20 years now...brave 'ol gal :)
But she's always lived in housing. Here's another past post you can read to learn a little more about our lives..
RELLO AND ME

It's long but if you have time,  you can read a little about me...110 years ago...before living in the Dorm.

Time to turn off the heat, grab the throw and eat :)

See ya Yesterday............

Rello seems like a great friend. I went back and read that other post. Also the post about Joe. Wow, what a life you've had. Some day I'm going to have to try to read your blog from the beginning.

Thank you for posting a link back...

And if Marelo has lived in the dorm for 20 years, I'll bet she is joyfully not trying to 'Simplify' or 'Get-Rid-Of-Stuff,' like so many of us are. Good for her!!!

Oh No, I should have said that more clearly...Marelo has been living on the Army Base for 20 years..in housing..like normal people!

Sorry if it confused you....
