LOVEABLE QUIRKY PEEPS

10/26/11

Jake's Road Trip Pumpkins

I've been saving these pictures from Idaho

for just the right time....

This is it

Not many words

just  In Your Face reality :)

And I loved it!

Yep, not one person did I see anywhere! Just the fruits of their labor and the faith and trust in others that we should all have. Not too many of these old souls around anymore....and that's kinda sad.

Oh, and here's where they ended up.,...

Have a fun and safe HALLOWEEEEEEEEN :)

                               MWAHAHAAAA!

See ya again NOVEMBER 2nd for a new A-T School
Think Teach can take another year of me ? :P

Super post and very good prices, it seems to me. The pumpkins and gourds look great in the wheel barrow and I very much like the pumpkin on the chair.

Love it! Very creative!

There is a man here in my town who goes to my church. He keeps a big vegetable garden in the summer and just leaves tomatoes and things out on a picnic table for anyone who wants them...free for the taking!

The world could definitely use more old souls like that.

We still have trust boxes to but not near as many! The pumpkins you got are great. I see a resemblance? Have a fun week.

I just love your arrangement in the wheel barrow! If I left all those outside, the javelina would dump them out and eat them!!

Perfect autumn post, Jake!!!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat post!

I never got to the Pumpkin Patch this year. -sob-

Yes Ma'am. Love those "leave your money in the box" country places. Love 'em.

Gentle hugs,
"Nothing beats a haunted moonlit night on All Hallows Eve.... And on this fatal night, at this witching time, the starless sky laments black and unmoving. The somber hues of an ominous, dark forest are suddenly illuminated under the emerging face of the full moon."

My brain may be going fuzzy, but I don't recall ever seeing white pumpkins before. How super cool to see the honor system working. And you got yourself quite to good stash of Halloween decor here!

I am having major pumpkin patch envy! Halloween isn't exactly celebrated in Japan. It's only recently that people have started acknowledging the event. Pumpkins are extremely hard to find here and when you do find them, they come at a hefty price. This year, we bought a small gourd for my daughter to play with. It's the one that they were selling for 50 cents in one of your photos. We paid about $4 for it (taking into account the exchange rate) Isn't that just crazy?

Great trip to the pumpkin farm. I so want to go to one of these. Do they even exist in Texas. hahaha
All my blogging buddies show their wonderful trips pumpkin hunting and I would have to snap a picture of me at Home Depot. lol
Would you believe I just threw mine out today. They spoiled and were only on my porch a week. I have never had that happen.
Love your arrangement.
Hope you have a great weekend
Oh I wish you lived in Tx too we would love to have you for girly timeouts. hahahaa

Don't you just love people like that? Wonderful pumpkins and good prices. I stopped at a house one day selling pumpkins that were all price. When no one answered, I chose a few then left a$10 bill on the porch with a note. Hoped they didn't mind. Yours look so festive in the wheelbarrow.

Oh Vicki! Thank you! I loved this little trip to a lovely season and the memory of a simpler time.

What a beautiful vignette you made with your treasures!

This just makes me smile.

I miss drives exactly like this one!
