Except this time it's not sillies. Got a little bit of my life to share this week. Some of you know the rest of the story....

Four years ago on January 14th, my oldest daughter took her own life. She used a rope. Shattered hearts and devistation only begin to describe what it did to myself and my family. Some of you may understand...

We chose cremation. Then decided to bury her ashes next to her brother, and order a headstone. Before the service my youngest daughter's husband Virgel went to the cemetary and dug the three foot hole, then stayed afterward to fill it in. He said he couldn't see her brothers having to do it. He saw how her choice affected all of us, he also felt the sadness. I gained a new respect for him and any misunderstandings we'd had before melted away. What a caring, understanding, awesome man.


Thirteen days ago Virgel took his own life.
He used a rope....





Not sure when I'll be posting again.
But I will.  I know life goes on...

Just a minute...
I gotta catch up here and do the letter * I *
CAUSE I MISSED IT!
How come?
Well, it has something to do with my computer
and tech support, starting with....

Oh whattheheck, I'll just show ya, you'll figure it out...

Then after two l.o.n.g. hours...

AGH!!!

So, after taking things back to factory settings, another crash less than 24 hours later, another even longer time with someone who's computer etiquite consisted of passing gas and yawning continually, two days later, I FINALLY FOUND A WAY TO TALK TO SOMEONE I COULD UNDERSTAND! SOMEONE  IN THE GOOD OL USA :) AND ALTHOUGH SHE LIVED IN 'THE DEEP SOUTH' (tee hee)

She got recovery software disks headed to me that day :) And didn't insist I send $30 for shipping!  (as someone else who, even if I could have understood him, blurred words with obnoxious bodily sounds)  WTH, I got this computer in AUGUST!  The word warranty applies here mr I'minIndiaonabike dude...grrr

So.....

Hey, that's talent!

Now I'm getting away from the sillies here for a minute.
Cause this is something a little more serious
Guess it's my rant on a couple of blog issues that irratate me and this is where I'll let them out!

First is the chalkboard grinding, absolutely irritating to me Word Verification that some of you still use. It's so not needed anymore! I love visiting blogs, but from now on I will be reading but not commenting on those with the word veri still there. Sorry, but it takes time away from reading other posts and even more if I try to hurry and mistype (:P) a letter...grrrr!  I've posted about it before, I know. But this time I'm going to just give you a link to someone who tells it like it is. PLEASE, if you still have this on your blog, go read what blogger Jill Samter has to say. She's also updated it with some info about replying to comments you leave on blogs via your email. Great info, thanks Jill...

Now for my other little rant....

Anyone who has followed me the last few years knows I love music. I've used it on most of my Alphabethursday posts. So this isn't a rant about music. It's about the little Playlist thing that many of you use on your blog. Remember, I. love. music... But not always what you love. And not always when I'm concentrating on what I'm reading...my mind works that way sometimes:) It also slows down my computer and it takes longer to load your page. So PLEASE, P.L.E.A.S.E. put your PLAYLIST either on top or close enough to the top of your sidebar so if some of us would rather turn it off, we can. That gives us the choice, which I love. It also gives us the choice to maybe pick another song to listen to if you have a list:)

Ok, thanks for letting me vent on some issues this week. Any and all comments on these subjects are welcome...without needing to use word veri and listening to head banging music:)
